JENNIFER HANLEY
Jennifer Hanley is founder and principal of Access Consulting,
a human resources consulting practice specializing in equal employment
opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action planning. With a background
in general strategy management consulting, Jennifer established
her practice in June of 1993. Since then, Access Consulting has
assisted many companies in developing effective Affirmative Action
Programs. Working to minimize discrimination liability and compliance
problems, Jennifer collaborates with her clients to bring them into
compliance with EEO laws and affirmative action regulations.
When the Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance
Programs (OFCCP) conducts Compliance Evaluations, many contractors
seek Jennifer's assistance. Representing her clients and serving
as a liaison with the OFCCP, Jennifer provides on-site support through
Compliance Evaluations and reporting in compliance with Conciliation
Agreements. In preparation for these Evaluations, Jennifer assists
clients by conducting salary equity analyses, training management,
and auditing hiring, compensation and record-keeping systems and
processes. Frequently, Jennifer advises clients in the development
and implementation of new and compliant systems and processes.
Jennifer has had the opportunity to work with companies taking
a progressive step beyond their obligatory Affirmative Action efforts
to foster a truly diverse work environment. In particular, she served
as Acting EEO/Diversity Programs Manager at Sybase; in this capacity,
Jennifer developed and implemented a number of EEO/diversity-related
projects and programs.
Since 1998, Jennifer has served on the Steering Committee of the
Northern California Industry Liaison Group (NCILG). As a partnership
between the contractor community and the Department of Labor's OFCCP,
the Industry Liaison Group provides a forum for communication between
affirmative action professionals from the public and private sectors.
